The American Chamber of Commerce in Sri Lanka launched an initiative to identify, encourage, and provide enterprising young entrepreneurs in Sri Lanka with seed funding for their entrepreneurial ideas that upgrades the well-being of people encouraging an eco-friendly standards. The AmCham Sri Lanka Founder Showcase 2022 – II finale saw 08 talented individuals showcase their entrepreneurial ideas and business plan to a panel of distinguished corporates.

Under the guidance of the Lead chair of Youth Employability & Entrepreneurship Initiatives & YouLead of Amcham SL; Ms. Tania Pollonowita Wettimuny the Amcham Sri Lanka Founders Showcase – Phase II was hosted on the 30th of August Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo. The well-versed panel of judges included 06 well-known corporate personalities, namely Mr. Jiffrey Zulfer (Pick Me), Mr. Chevan Daniel (The Maharaja Corporation), Ms. Shanika Arsecularatne (Christell Skin Clinic), Mr. Imal Kalutotage (NCINGA), Pankaj Singha (Coca -Cola), Faiq Faaiz (Oensys Capital Pvt Ltd) and Ms. Roshanie Moraes Jayasundera (Link Natural Products Pvt Ltd) for the evening. The Winner was awarded a cash prize of USD 1500, and Runner Up a cash prize of USD 500 as seed funding for their future business endevours.
