A special session was curated by AmCham Sri Lanka together with SLASSCOM Sri Lanka ( strategic Partner of AmCham SL) and resident expert Attorney-at-Law Mr. Revan Weerasinghe on Sri Lanka’s Data Protection Act No. 09 of 2022,  related to the field of IT. The session discussed; providing an in-depth understanding and practical knowledge to all members on the Fundamentals of the Data Protection Act, Rights and obligations under the Act for Data Controllers, Rights and obligations for Data Processors and Key action points for implementation which will head the way towards full compliance with the act by the month of September 2023.
