Amcham Gives Back
AmCham Sri Lanka through its AmCham Gives Back initiative, with the support of members and partners worldwide donated LKR 800,000 to Re-Awakening Lanka, to provide safe drinking water to a school in Pachchiapali in the Kilinochchi District. The project is due for completion in January 2023

The Amcham Member Spotlight together with Uber Sri Lanka on Empowering the growth of SMBs in Sri Lanka
AmCham SL together with Uber Sri Lanka hosted its premiere event of the ‘AmCham Member Spotlight’ on the 25th of November at the Jaic Hilton Colombo. This Spotlight Member Series is being created in bringing the success stories of member organizations to a wider audience providing both the platform for publicity and promotion, but more importantly for AmCham member companies to showcase their innovation, agility, resilience, initiative, and success, inspiring the corporate community of the island. The event presented a panel discussion consisting of many well-known corporate figures on empowering the growth of SMBs in Sri Lanka.

The AmCham Sri Lanka announces ‘INVESTMENT SPOTLIGHT’ Initiative to attract US FDI & Reinvestment at 30th AGM
The American Chamber of Commerce in Sri Lanka, held its 30th Annual General Meeting and election of Directors on the 29th of September 2022. Despite the challenges of the socio-economic and political conditions faced by the business community over the past year significantly curtailing usual Chamber activities, the Chamber recorded it highest net surplus yet, for the third consecutive year.
