Resilient Sri Lanka: De-Risking Sri Lankan Apparel
A forum of an in-person workshop was organized by Kavida; a UK supply chain technology company launched its premiere event on “De-risking Sri Lankan Apparel” at Cinnamon Lakeside Hotel Colombo under the facilitation of Amcham SL. The initiative presented Resilient Sri Lanka a new industry forum on a mission to build resilience into Sri Lanka manufacturing.

Sri Lanka’s Personal Data Protection Act – Implementation FAQs
Amcham Sri Lanka organized a special event on the PDPA (Personal Data Protection Act) which is the principal legislation that deals with personal data protection in Sri Lanka. Conducted by Mr. Revan Weerasinghe; an independent legal practitioner specializing in the areas of intellectual property, information security, data protection, company law, and commercial transactions was hosted at Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo.

The American Chamber of Commerce in Sri Lanka with Habitat for Humanity Sri Lanka at Nayanalokagama
AmCham Sri Lanka together with Habitat for humanity Sri Lanka launched their joint Community Outreach program (H-ERP) one of the prominent CSR initiatives provided dry rations sufficient for one month, to 100 families at the Nayanalokagama Village in Katana, Negombo, under the patronage of the US Ambassador to Sri Lanka, HE Julie J Chung, the District Secretary and other officials of the Gampaha District and the participation of several donors and well-wishers.
